You cannot have much of a peripheral vision wearing blinders. Now, consider that what you have not seen or noticed is just more of your reality. In becoming more aware of their surroundings a person will also tend to become more sensitive. This will affect people differently. In moving from a familiar place to an unfamiliar place, depending upon the person, feelings of anxiousness are common place. So, if you are feeling in any way anxious about this new awareness, there is no need to be alarmed.
